Ethics Policy
The purpose of our ethical guidelines is both to protect patient volunteers and to preserve the integrity of the science.
BioPartners, Inc. provides specimens collected under ethical regulations and in accordance with all applicable (local and international) laws. We retain our own legal team, as well as IRBs oversee all samples collections.
All of the samples collected are procured and manufactured using a validated SOP and under the oversight of a local IRB.
As a CRO, we take care to conduct collection of biospecimens according to the standards underpinned by five core values of ethical research: informed consent, voluntary participation, privacy and confidentiality, justice and beneficence, and right to review.
All these values of ethical research are reflected in our ICF template specially updated in order to comply with the recent GDPR requirements.
BioPartners, Inc. is obliged to ensure that at every clinical site from our network:
• Stringent procedures are followed to protect each and every volunteer/donor
• All donors have voluntarily signed legal Informed Consent documents
• Bio-specimens and related clinical data can only be obtained with signed consent
• All clinical data for donors is pseudonymised
